In Death's Wake: Book 1 of The Corvus Chronicles

Gabriel grew up in an average life and was perfectly happy to keep to the shadows. Now, in the late 21st century he is drafted into the second American Civil War. Unknown to him, events had been set into motion that would sign away his life. Selected for mental experiments to see into the minds of the dead, he is discharged from the army like many other test subjects. The experiments have killed many test subjects and the project has been disbanded. After being sent home, Gabriel signs on with the local police force to use his new abilities to make a little money on the side, but did the experiments do more damage than he thought?

Now in a race against time to stop a serial killer who will do anything to bring him down, Gabriel must be willing to lose everything, including his sanity, to stop the murders. What are the wraiths that haunt his dreams? Can he protect those he loves from monsters both real and imaginary? Did Gabriel stumble onto more than he bargained for when he got caught up in death’s wake?

With his sanity perched on the edge of a blade he must stay alive even as the body count rises.  Why is he seeing the dead wandering the streets?  Can he survive when his past comes haunting?  Can he live long enough to learn the secrets from the souls of the dead?

Through the Veil: Book 6 of The Corvus Chronicles

The veil is fluctuating. In the land of the dead, purgatory is empty. In the land of the living, nightmares are coming to life.

In one world, Pandora is trying to get back to a normal life. As normal as solving crimes with the help of suspects dreams can be. But just when she is settling back in, dreams begin coming to life when the dreamer is wide awake.

In the other world, Gabriel finds himself in an afterlife void of souls. He begins his own investigation to figure out what has gone wrong with the veil between worlds. His travels take him through the remnants of Eden and across deserted landscapes. What will he find? Could his investigation bring him, too, back to the world of the living?

The assignment seemed simple. That is until Bailey discovers twenty nearly identical graves. All with different names but the same date of death. What connects these twenty graves, these twenty people, these twenty lives? In an investigation spanning over a century, Bailey gets lost in the hunt for answers. What is their connection, and could it lead back to Bailey’s own bloodline?
